“ Initially, we were reluctant to enter after peeping in the front door, we went in and glad we did. All the ladies serving were fantastic. They were polite and welcoming and made me feel at home right away. The place looked good with some historical stuff like a red phone booth, a raleigh chopper, as well as some signed guitars from the beatles. The food portions for the Sunday roast were as one lady said, mum portion, i.e. huge!!! Shout out to Jess, who made an excellent cocktail. Enjoyed the large variety of lagers available. This place has a good vibe!! ”

“ Celebrated my son’s birthday here recently. More people turned up than expected so we took over quite a large part of the seating area add in to there being a few other groups celebrating at the same time so quite busy overall however the service provided was tremendous, all of the team could not do enough for us, we were made to feel like VIP’s catering for our every need. Ahead of the get together I ordered what I call ‘beer food’ (hot nibbley bits) this wasn’t something offered on the general menu however this was not a problem to supply, when they came they where hot and plentiful, they also helped in bringing my sons birthday cake out and provide table service for drinks - overall it was a great experience from booking to the event and would not hesitate to use again - thank you Cowshed highly recommend. PS spend per person quoted was for all drinks and food for the night not how much a general meal and drink cost our party was very high spirited ! ”
